Meghan Kennedy has effectively nurtured lines of communication between the student body and Carl Sandburg College administrators. In addition to participating in all CSC board meetings and retreats, she served on the faculty-based Student Services Committee and helped initiate a quarterly newsletter for the Student Government Association. At the state level, Kennedy was chosen by her peers as the first Illinois Community College Board-Student Advisory Committee liaison to the Trustees Association. "She has been the best student trustee to the board we have had in my six years at the college," says CSC administrator Michael Walters. |
