ICCTA Professional Board Staff Member Award 2014 Recipient Lana Fuller Lake Land College Lana Fuller served as board secretary and executive assistant to the president during her entire 28-year career at Lake Land College. During her tenure, she worked with five presidents, 25 trustees, over 1,100 employees, and nearly 25,000 students. Her contributions to Lake Land are truly vast. She participated in three presidential searches, helped develop the college's first comprehensive board policy manual, supported the writing of legislation to initiate statewide equalization, and taught numerous non-credit business classes -- all while running a one-person office. Retired Lake Land College board secretary Lana Fuller accepts ICCTA's 2014 Professional Board Staff Member Award. She also played a role in the growth of the Illinois community college system when she simultaneously assisted the president of ICCTA and the chair of the Presidents Council when both positions were held by Lake Land officials in the same year.
